Relatively inexpensive, quite efficient, and in high demand, these units are becoming increasingly sought after by consumers. They offer a wide range of functionality and sleek design. I have been responding to customer demand for these units on almost a daily basis. What makes ductless air conditioning so desirable? For starters, when both the indoor and outdoor units run, they are virtually silent. The latest fan and compressor designs have made huge strides in auditory advancement.
The next reason could be the zoning possibilities. They come in a single split system or a multiple zone configuration. Each indoor unit comes with a remote controlled thermostat that gives you complete control over individual room comfort levels.

The heat pump units offer great alternative space heating and cooling at high efficiencies all in one unit. Simply put, when heat is called for by the thermostat remote control, the unit reverses the direction of refrigerant flow. Instead of extracting heat from the room and sending it outside, the reversed refrigerant flow extracts heat from outside and sends it into the home. The refrigerant used in the units is R-410A, which operates at higher pressures than that of the former refrigerant R-22. Due to the change, the new units are capable of heating with outdoor temperatures as low as 0 degrees. This makes heat pumps more attractive in colder climates, one of the downfalls of former units.
Ductless air conditioning is a great alternative to conventional systems, window units, and wall sleeve units. People who own hot water heating systems can also have the benefits of central a/c without the addition of air handlers or bulky ducting systems.
